Located nine miles out on Lake of the Woods in the protected waters of Sabaskong Bay, Split Rock Lodge is an island camp nestled in the heart of territory where professional guides bring their patrons to fish - and you are already there!

Where You'll Stay:

Our modern housekeeping cabins come furnished with 24 hour electricity, fully equiped kitchens with a refrigerator, stove, toaster, coffee maker, pots and pans, dishes and silverware. The beds are complete with linens, pillows and blankets. Each cabin has a full bath, you need only to supply your own towels.

All cabins have a deck with gas grill. Gas, bait and ice available on the island.

Dockage comes free to our guest. We have outlets on the docks to charge batteries.

The Sporting Schedule:

Fishing: Located in some of the world's best Muskie waters, Split Rock will bring you back again and again. Lake of the Woods is host to plenty of Walleye, Northern Bass and Crappie to keep any fisherman happy!

Duck and Grouse: The season runs from September 15th through November. We see bluebills, ringnecks, mallards, teal, woodducks and some Canadian honkers.

Where is Split Rock?

Nestor Falls is 50 miles northwest of International Falls reached by taking Canada Hwy. 11 west to Hwy. 71 then north to Nestor Falls.

Boat-in transportation is supplied by Split Rock Lodge from the government dock (located on the south side of town) to the resort and back.
